Frequently asked questions
How do I play?
Tap a pin (or drag it the way it slides) to pull it. Gold, water, lava and the rest start to flow. Get enough gold into Captain Bandit's chest without putting the captain in danger. Some caves also have gates to slide and valves to turn. The order of your pulls matters.
How do stars work?
Stars depend on how much of the gold ends up in the chest: fill the chest well for three stars. You can replay any cave you have cleared.
The captain got hurt. What now?
Nothing is lost. Tap Rewind and the cave resets in under a second. There are no lives and no energy.
What is Ghost Flow?
If a cave beats you three times, you can choose to watch a short reward video to see a ghost preview of how the flow starts. You can also choose to watch one to skip the cave (up to 2 times a day); a skipped cave gives no stars and you can come back to it later. With Remove Ads, Ghost Flow works without a video up to 5 times a day, and you can skip up to 3 caves a day without a video.
What are the Cursed Cave and Storm Night?
Every day a Cursed Cave gives a cleared cave a new twist, such as heavy gravity, darkness or frozen water. Every week Storm Night opens a stormy island where the tide rises while you play; each week brings a ship figure for your Hoard Cove.
What is Hoard Cove?
Your pirate cove. Spend the doubloons you earn in caves to build a lighthouse, a dock, a ship and more, and to place decorations.
My purchase did not arrive, or I have a new phone.
Open Settings > Restore purchases while signed in to the same store account. If that does not help, write to us with the store receipt. Refunds are handled by Google Play or the App Store.
I lost my progress. Can it be recovered or moved?
Progress is stored only on your device; there is no cloud backup. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data erases it. Purchases can always be restored.
Can I play offline?
Yes. All caves work offline; only ads and purchases need a connection.
Are there ads?
There are no ads in your first 20 caves. After that, an occasional full-screen ad may appear between caves, never while you play. There are no banners. Remove Ads switches these ads off for good.
How do I change the language?
Settings > Language. Pull & Plunder is available in 11 languages; on first launch it follows your device language.
How do I change my advertising privacy choice?
Where it applies (EEA, UK, Switzerland), Settings > Ad privacy choices reopens the consent form. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Details: Privacy Policy.
The hints are gone. Can I see them again?
Settings > Show tips again brings the tips back.
Reporting a bug
In the game, open Settings > Message in a Bottle: your e-mail app opens with the game version and cave details already filled in. Or write to info@ruicodex.com and tell us what you did and what you expected to happen. A screenshot helps.
